Dishonored Service Contracts/Warranty Claims
The Lemon Law has different rules pertaining to it. In some situations if the same problem continues to happen on a continual basis, or a defect that can produce a serious injury occurs, you may have a lemon.
There are many different things to look at when determining whether or not your car is considered a 'lemon'.
Yo Yo sales can happen to you without you even realizing it. High pressure on a buyer that has grown attached to a vehicle over a few days, and then an attempt to change the contract for higher profit by the dealer, is dealer fraud, this is how it can happen.
Basically, you think you have the vehicle, then suddenly the financing doesn't go through, and you have to come back in to renegotiate. With the buyer not wanting to be stranded without a vehicle, they are more apt to sign a contract for a worse deal then originally agreed upon. This tactic can be hard to spot sometimes, but is frequently used. It is against the law, and you should contact an attorney if you feel you may be a victim of this scam.
A dishonored warranty claim can happen often. You think your repair should be covered, but they tell you it is not. Some fancy words can leave you in doubt of what you should be rightfully paying for. Don't let the mechanic or the dealer charge you for repairs that you shouldn't be paying for.
Consult with us to determine whether or not you are being charged for repairs that your warranty should be covering. Warranties can sometimes be worded in a way that leaves much open to interpretation, allowing the mechanic or dealer to explain why something may or may not be covered. Get legal consultation if you are in doubt.
